Anthem has only been out for a few days now and players are getting ready for the endgame. Learning about the endgame inevitably brings up the Anthem Masterwork Gear. This gear is super important to the endgame and overall game progression. But what exactly is this gear? More importantly, how do you go about unlocking the gear in the game?
In this guide for Anthem, we are going to go over everything you need to know about the Anthem Masterwork Gear. This will let you understand how this gear works, why it’s important, and how you’ll be able to receive it in the game. What Is Anthem Masterwork Gear?
First and foremost, what is Masterwork? Well, it’s one of the best types of gear in the entire game. In fact, the entire endgame progression essentially requires it so you will want to get some quickly. This, along with the much rarer Legendary gear, are the highest forms of armor and weapons you can get.
But how do you get Anthem Masterwork Gear? Well, you won’t really start to receive any gear until the later levels of the game around 28-29 or so. You’ll really start to get some, though, when you reach the max level for the game, which is 30 right now. There are plenty of ways to get Masterwork then.
You can do Strongholds, Legendary Contracts, and so on. Our personal favorite, though, is farming the events that are scattered around the world in Freeplay mode. You will want to raise your level high enough that you can do Grandmaster 1 and this will ensure you get a good number of Anthem Masterwork Gear.
