Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Release Times
The new map pinpoints key cities in each region and lists the precise release time for Thronebreaker in that area. For instance, the game will release at 7:00 AM EDT on the 23rd of October in New York. The game will also be available to pre-load 24 hours prior to the release, giving players who have pre-ordered the title ample time to install it. At present, the PC release of Thronebreaker is only available on CD Projekt’s own platform; GOG.com. It will not be available on Steam, though it could perhaps come to Valve’s platform at some later date.
Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales will be fans’ first chance to return to the world of The Witcher since the Blood and Wine DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Although the game’s combat system uses the Gwent card game, Thronebreaker still features an impressive story. CD Projekt Red has said that the game boasts over 30 hours of story content. Additionally, it includes more voice lines than were recorded for The Witcher 3’s Hearts of Stone DLC. Thronebreaker will also tread new ground in the setting, featuring four regions which have before appeared in a Witcher game; Lyria, Rivia, Angren, and Mahakam. Aedirn will also feature; the first time the kingdom has appeared since The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
