The team behind the ambitious Fallout 4: New Vegas mod for Fallout 4 have given fans their first look at the NCR with a series of new in-game posters. Fallout 4: New Vegas is one of the larger mod projects around; a project to recreate and improve Fallout: New Vegas within Fallout 4. The mod even has the official support of Bethesda.
The Fallout 4: New Vegas NCR Posters
Very few mod projects receive the official support of Bethesda. As such, Fallout 4: New Vegas is one of the largest ongoing mod projects currently in development. The team working on Fallout 4: New Vegas post regular updates for their fans on Facebook, and the latest look at the NCR comes via one such Facebook post. Yesterday, the team featured NCR posters created by Charlie Wilcher, Gem Ryan, Bruno Sathler, and Parker Harris; contributors in the mod’s 2D Team. The post is part of the team’s regular schedule. Every week, the team highlights some area where new work has been done, or a larger progress update.
The NCR, or New California Republic, were one of the main factions in Fallout: New Vegas. As such, they will play a major role in Fallout 4: New Vegas, although the team has yet to show any glimpses of actual NPCs. Although the team is seeking to recreate Fallout: New Vegas in Fallout 4, that doesn’t mean that the game will be the same. In fact, the modders are aiming to improve the game wherever they can, and some changes are necessary due to the different engine. The team regularly shows off new assets, like these posters. In recent weeks, they have shown off new weapon redesigns for the 10mm Submachine Gun, Sawed-Off Shotgun, and Varmint Rifle, for example. It certainly seems as though the team is making swift progress. However, the mod does not yet have a release date.
