The start of the Fallout 76 beta is fast approaching. However, Bethesda still has yet to clarify what the exact start date of the event will be. A recent leak suggests that it could start on the 8th of October, but no official confirmation has yet been made. The date could at last become public this week; Pete Hines has said that news of the beta will “hopefully” arrive this week.
Fallout 76 Beta Details Coming This Week?
The Fallout 76 beta will be fans’ first opportunity to play the upcoming multiplayer RPG; Bethesda’s first foray into multiplayer for one of its core franchises (excluding The Elder Scrolls: Online, of course). Many of the game’s multiplayer elements have yet to be shown publicly, and with such little time now before the start of the beta, it seems likely that they won’t be shown by Bethesda before the event begins.
At present, all that is known about the Fallout 76 beta is that it will launch a week earlier on the Xbox One than on other platforms. Bethesda has not specified how long the beta will be, when it will start, or what content precisely will feature. However, those details may emerge sooner rather than later, according to Pete Hines. The Bethesda Vice President of Marketing Tweeted recently that; “we’ll have more information for you on that soon. Hopefully this week.”

In truth, the exact start date of the Fallout 76 beta may in fact be different for different people; “Starting in October we’ll be selecting people who have pre-ordered the game from a participating retailer to enter our B.E.T.A.,” said a recent post from a Bethesda community administrator; “We’ll start small and grow over time as prepare for launch. Be sure you’ve read our F.A.Q. for details on how to redeem your B.E.T.A. code and other important details.”
