Ahead of the launch of the Fallout 76 Beta on the 30th of October on the PS4 and PC, the game is now available to pre-load. This mirrors the Beta launch on Xbox One, where the game became available to pre-load several days ahead of the launch. The download is quite sizeable, especially on PC, so players are advised to pre-load the Beta if they can.

Fallout 76 Beta Available to Pre-Load on PC & PS4
Bethesda announced that the Beta was available to pre-load via a Tweet earlier today. The Fallout 76 Beta is due to start on PC and PS4 on the 30th of October, in just a few days’ time. Bethesda has also published a schedule of the time-slots when the Beta will be playable. This timetable covers this weekend, when it will be available on the Xbox One, and four days between then and the 4th of November when it will be available on all platforms.
The times differ in each slot, however, so players are advised to check the timetable each day. Gamers outside of the US will also need to convert the times to their own time-zones too; the Fallout 76 Beta does not feature different time-slots in different time-zones. As a result, gamers in the UK and Europe will find that the times are much later in the day. They may even be late at night. Fortunately, the time-slots do differ on different days.
Ahead of the launch of the Fallout 76 Beta on PC, Bethesda has also released the minimum and recommended PC system requirements for the game. Fortunately for PC gamers, they’re nothing extreme. PC gamers should also note that the file size of the Beta is apparently larger on PC. While the Beta size is reportedly 45 GB on consoles, it is nonetheless 60 GB on PC. As a result, gamers should take advantage of the chance to pre-load the title now so as to avoid a lengthy wait later on.
