The Fallout 76 Beta will begin tomorrow on Xbox One; one full week ahead of the Beta starting on PC and PlayStation 4. However, the B.E.T.A. (Break-it Early Test Application) will not be available 24/7. Rather, it will only be available for limited windows each day. These times are likely to be consistent throughout the Beta period, but players should keep an eye on the official Fallout Twitter account in case they do shift. As for day 1, here follows the Fallout 76 Beta start times in the US and Europe.
The Fallout 76 Beta Start Times
Pete Hines was asked by fans whether there would be different start times by region several weeks ago. At the time, Hines said that it was something that Bethesda had discussed, but gave no firm answer. Unfortunately for players in the UK and the rest of Europe, it seems that they will not be. As such, the beta start times in those regions are very late at night. Hopefully this is something which may change during the course of the Fallout 76 Beta. The precise regional start times for the beta are as follows:
- East Coast United States: Beta starts 7 PM ET and ends 11 PM ET on Tuesday the 23rd of October.
- West Coast United States: Beta starts 4 PM PDT and ends 8 PM PDT on Tuesday the 23rd of October.
- Europe: Beta starts 1 AM CEST and ends 5 AM CEST on Wednesday the 24th of October.
- United Kingdom: Beta starts 12 PM (midnight) BST and ends 4 AM BST on Wednesday the 24th of October.
Note that only players who have pre-ordered Fallout 76 can get access to the game’s beta. Pre-loading for the beta is already available, so if you haven’t yet downloaded the Fallout 76 Beta files, you should definitely do so. The file size is around 45 GB; a rather sizeable download, especially on slower internet speeds. Getting it downloaded ahead of time will ensure that you’re able to play as much of the beta as possible.
