The first ever season event is now available in Fallout 76, as the second content release of the Wild Appalachia DLC. The Fallout 76 Fasnacht Parade event takes place in the town of Helvetia, and brings a whole lot of new content to the game. Players can take part in the parade throughout the next week, and the event quest is actually repeatable.
Have you heard? There's a parade over in Helvetia this week.

The Fallout 76 Fasnacht Parade Event is Now Available in Helvetia
The Fallout 76 Fasnacht Parade event was originally announced as part of the Wild Appalachia post-launch content expansion. Wild Appalachia officially began last week with the release of the first new content pack. This added a new story quest, as well as new brewing and distilling mechanics, with two new crafting stations and new alcoholic beverage recipes. The second content pack brings the parade, and more releases are coming every few weeks until the 7th of May.
According to Bethesda, the Fasnacht Parade began in 1869. The locals of Helvetia would don garish masks and burn an effigy of ‘Old Man Winter’ in order to mark the end of the winter season. Although the people who once celebrated this event are gone, the robots which were programmed to assist with the parade are not. For the next week, players can head to Helvetia to attempt the parade event quest. In fact, they can attempt it as many times as they want. Simply speak to the Master of Ceremonies to get started.
You’ll need to help the robots with a few different tasks to prepare for the parade. After that, you must defend the parade itself from waves of attackers. Once the robots reach Old Man Winter, the parade will conclude, and you and your teammates will earn special event rewards. These vary, but do include the various new parade masks. Certainly, there’s more rewards than you could earn in a single playthrough. As such, fans have plenty of reason to protect the parade a few different times.
