The Fallout 76 Survival Mode has now been in Beta for almost one month following its launch on the 26th of March. The PvP-focused mode includes a variety of new features, like leaderboards, to distinguish it from Adventure mode, and one of these is a set of special weekly challenges. Each of these challenges offers a unique Legendary weapon as a reward. In a recent update article, Bethesda revealed what’s coming in the next six weeks for the Survival mode challenges; six all new Legendary weapons.
Fallout 76 Survival Mode Challenge Rewards: Week by Week
Week 7 (7th – 13th of May): The first of the upcoming new challenges is “Stake your Claim on the Wasteland”. To complete it, players need to claim any Workshop, build either a Turret, Trap, or other Defensive Structure in either a Workshop or C.A.M.P., and kill any Human-like creature. Completing the challenge will net you the Resolute Veteran. This Legendary Gatling Gun confers both a +10% damage bonus and +50 Damage Resistance bonus while you’re aiming. It also debuffs your target, reducing their damage output by 20% for 3 seconds.
Week 8 (14th – 20th of May): Week 8’s challenge is “Team Up,” which requires you to complete four objectives with a Team. You and your teammates must claim a Workshop, revive a player, kill a Scorchbeast, and complete any quest. Doing so will get you the Commander’s Charge, a Legendary Revolutionary Sword. This lightning-fast blade grants you +1 Agility and has a 40% faster swing speed. Best of all, its damage increases after each consecutive hit on the same target, letting you hack through enemies with impressive speed.
Week 9 (21st – 27th of May): The “See the Light,” challenge requires you to complete four objectives. You need to build a light in your C.A.M.P. or Workshop, kill a firefly, kill any enemy with an energy weapon, and take a Camera Picture in stormy weather. (Note that the new Camera item will be added to the game in an update on the 23rd of April.) The reward for this challenge is the Night Light, a Legendary Tesla Rifle. It grants you +1 Perception, boasts a 25% faster fire rate, and also does higher damage at night. Its damage goes down during the day, however.
Week 10 (28th of May – 3rd of June): To complete “Go on a Fishing Expedition,” you need to do four objectives. You must complete any Quest or Event in the Cranberry Bog and claim the Lakeside Cabins Workshop. You must also kill any aquatic or semi-aquatic creature and then cook a meal with meat from such a creature. With all of those tasks complete, you’ll get the Kingfisher. This Legendary Harpoon Gun deals +30% damage to Mirelurks and bugs. Plus, its V.A.T.S. critical shots do +50% damage, and it fills your V.A.T.S. critical metre 15% faster.
Week 11 (4th – 10th of June): The “Succumb to Depravity” challenge requires you to complete five objectives, instead of four. You must eat Raw Meat, cook a meal while you’re intoxicated, kill a Human-like creature with any melee weapon, kill a Critter while you are starving, and claim any Workshop while you are mutated. Complete all of these and you’ll get the second Legendary melee weapon among the new rewards; the Unstoppable Monster. This Legendary Deathclaw Gauntlet does 40% more power attack damage and also lets you take 40% less damage while you’re power attacking. Interestingly, its damage also increases the lower your health is.
Week 12 (11th – 17th of June): The final challenge is “Down on the Farm”. This requires you to complete five different objectives. First, you must plant any Crop in your C.A.M.P. or Workshop. Then you’ll also need to harvest any wild plant or fungus, milk a Brahmin, kill any creature with a farm tool, and claim the Billings Homestead Workshop. The final reward is Salt of the Earth, a Legendary Double-Barrel Shotgun. It boasts +10% damage while aiming and 15% faster reload. Best of all, it shoots an extra projectile.
