Less than one month after somebody succeeded in completing Fallout: New Vegas without killing a single enemy, another gamer has managed to complete the game without taking a single hit. The impressive Fallout: New Vegas playthrough took around six-and-a-half hours, including all DLC. Throughout it, the player managed avoid taking a hit, even on the game’s Very Hard difficulty.
T Ronix’s Fallout: New Vegas Playthrough
The gamer who has managed to complete this impressive feat goes by T Ronix. He has something of a reputation for this sort of gameplay already; before completing this latest Fallout: New Vegas playthrough, he completed Fallout 4 without taking a single hit.
T Ronix set himself several rules for the playthrough, which he was able to stick to throughout. Firstly, and most obviously, he couldn’t take even one hit from any enemy, be it in melee or at range. Secondly, he couldn’t take damage from any other direct source, such as a trap. It’s worth noting that some damage in Fallout: New Vegas is unavoidable, primarily due to environmental effects such as radiation and also during certain cut-scenes. Damage of that sort did not count for the purposes of completing the run. The final rule was that T Ronix would not use any companions for the duration of the run.

All told, T Ronix managed to complete the Fallout: New Vegas playthough in around six-and-a-half hours. The run included the entirety of the game and all of its DLC. Just a week ago, a speedrunner set a new record for completing the entire Fallout series in just under ninety minutes. Nevertheless, T Ronix’s time is certainly impressive given that he managed to do everything without ever taking a hit or direct, avoidable damage. Very few other gamers could claim to have completed such a challenging playthrough!
