Far Cry New Dawn Specialists: How to Recruit Grace Armstrong

In addition to recruiting the eight Guns-for-Hire companions in Far Cry New Dawn, players also need to recruit five ‘Specialists.’ These characters are, like the Guns-for-Hire, scattered around Hope County. However, instead of helping in your fight against the Highwaymen, these individuals are needed to help rebuild Prosperity. In gameplay terms, you need 2 of them to upgrade Prosperity to Tier 2, and the remaining 3 to reach Tier 3. Two of these Far Cry New Dawn Specialists were Guns-for-Hire in Far Cry 5; Sharky Boshaw and Grace Armstrong. The latter can be found northeast of Prosperity, not far from the ruins of Fall’s End.

The Five Far Cry New Dawn Specialists: How to Recruit Grace Armstrong

Players familiar with Far Cry 5 should recognise Grace Armstrong. However, time has changed her greatly; the reason why she doesn’t feature as a Gun-for-Hire once again, as Hurk does, is because she has become blind. However, she continues to aid the Hope County survivors against the Highwaymen by designing and crafting weapons. When you reach her camp, which can be found on the far side of Fall’s End from Prosperity, she’ll tell you that her most recent invention; a prototype saw launcher, has been stolen by the Highwaymen.

Grace will direct you to a Highwaymen camp which lies near the centre of the map. Built in the ruins of a train yard, this camp is being used to store resources and loot. Your first task is to recover the saw launcher itself; two of them can be found inside a pink storage container inside the warehouse. Once you have the saw launcher, Grace informs you that you also need to recover stolen materials which could be used to make more. There are three caches of stolen materials in the area.

Head outside and look for the storage containers painted pink; the stolen materials are inside these. You’ll need to do some climbing and jumping to get to some of them. Of course, you’ll also be up against waves of Highwaymen descending on your position and trying to stop you. Once you have all of the materials, head up the hill and meet Grace nearby. She’ll thank you and tell you that she’s going to move to Prosperity. After that, you can find the blind sniper overseeing the Prosperity Workbench.
