There is so much new content for players to enjoy right now in Final Fantasy XIV from the new patch 4.5 to all of the Blue Mage goodies. After all, this new limited job class has some weird caveats to it that make leveling a little trickier.
That’s where our FFXIV Blue Mage leveling guide comes in. We are going to go over the best couple of ways that we think that you should do for leveling up this class. This is important because there is some Blue Mage content that you can only access at its max level. Here’s what you should do.
FFXIV Blue Mage Leveling Guide
The max level (at the time of patch 4.5) for Blue Mage is 50. While lower than other classes, it is a little trickier to reach. That’s because you can’t enter in the duty roulettes so no experience from those. This, unfortunately, includes Palace of the Dead as well. This then limits your ways of leveling up quickly.
Because of this, you have a few options that are your main ways of leveling the fastest. The first is just killing random enemies in the world. This may seem weird but Blue Mage gets a huge boost to enemies in the world. You can level the early levels rather fast and even the mid 20’s only take around 10 enemies or so to level up.
Of course, a quicker way is by having a friend take you to level 49 enemies in the world and helping you kill them. This can raise your level quickly. Lastly, you can form a pre-formed party and do dungeons that way. Unfortunately, this can be tough to form so hit up the party finder and your friends/Free Company.
