The great part of EA Sports’ lineup of sports games is the realness they bring in terms of overall gameplay. That includes end zone dances in Madden games or free throw shooting in NBA games. The FIFA 19 goal celebrations will also give fans an extra measure of that realism. Several star players will have their special goal celebrations as part of the game, but they’ll require a few steps to make them work.
Recently, the FIFA 19 soundtrack emerged for fans to check out. There are also FIFA tutorials popping up online. A report from Manchester Evening News notes that Manchester United stars Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard will have goal celebrations. Pogba is known for his post-goal moves that are supposed to mimic a cowboy on a horse. Lingard’s is a dance move known as the “Milly Rock.” Brazilian star Neymar is also amongst the players with special post-goal moves. Here’s a look at how to perform those goal celebrations and more.
Paul Poga FIFA 19 Goal Celebration – Giddy Up
Paul Pogba’s goal celebration is a unique, and often strange one, but fun nonetheless. It has him imitating a cowboy riding on a horse before an embrace with teammates. First, a goal is necessary. Once Pogba scores that goal, a player can hold the L1/LB button PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One and push the right analog stick in. That brings out the cowboy-on-horse goal celebration.
Jesse Lingard FIFA 19 Goal Celebration – Milly Rock
The Milly Rock is a hip-hop dance brought forth by the artist 2 Milly. NFL stars have used the move and it’s even a Fortnite emote. It’s also become a Jesse Lingard celebration after a goal. Once he scores a goal, a player can just press X or A on their controller, based on which platform it is. That launches Lingard into his memorable dance that fans watched in United’s 3-1 win over Arsenal last season.
Neymar FIFA 19 Goal Celebration – Hang Loose
Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil’s national team star Neymar also has a unique celebration. After Neymar scores a goal, a player needs to hold the L1 button as well as the Right stick. Pressing the controller’s up and down buttons unleashes Neymar’s fun “Hang Loose” goal celebration.
Those are just a few of the FIFA 19 goal celebrations available in the upcoming game. There will also be unique moves for Cristiano Ronaldo, Roberto Firmino, Kylian Mbappe, and others. Thankfully, YouTuber Kazooie94 published a recent video showing how to perform all of these celebratory moves. At the very least, gamers can practice the controller combos ahead of the game’s release.
EA Sports’ FIFA 19 game is scheduled for release on September 28, 2018, for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360/One, Nintendo Switch, and PCs everywhere. Goal celebration mode will soon be in full effect!
