FIFA 19 Headliners Include Paul Pogba, Son Heung-Min For Limited Time FUT Promotion
A new FIFA Ultimate Team promotion is in effect for a limited time featuring a group of headline caliber players. The FIFA 19 Headliners are officially in EA’s game and include the likes of Paul Pogba as well as Son Heung-Min. Here’s a look at which players are included in the new FIFA 19 FUT promotion and how to get them for your team.
FIFA 19 Headliners Promotion brings exceptional players to packs
The “Headliners” group in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team consist of players who performed impressively through the first half of the season. FIFA says these players needed to have gone on an “exceptional run of form” during the first half of season. So that brings a number of talented players to this collection including the likes of Manchester United’s Pogba and his teammate Marcus Rashford.
Since the departure of boss Jorge Mourinho, Pogba has found his top form again, as he appears to be enjoying the game. He received a nice 90-rated card for the new promotion, while Alex Sandro has an 89 card. Other standouts include an 88 Marco Reus and 88 Leroy Sane.
As shown in the image below, there are a total of 19 players who represent the FIFA 19 Headliners for Ultimate Team. No player in this promotion is lower than an 86 rating. So that makes for some interesting grabs in FUT packs right now.
Of note, while the image above shows specific players it doesn’t display Marko Arnautovic of West Ham United. He is also part of the Headliners promotion but as part of a Squad Building Challenge (SBC).
Also, gamers will notice there is Duvan Zapata with an 86 overall card for the Headliners promotion. Zapata has a Man of the Match card coming as of February 8 once the FIFA 19 Headliners promotion ends. That Zapata FIFA MOTM card is shown as an 87 per EA Sports FIFA.
FIFA 19 Headliners are dynamic FUT cards
The cool aspect of these FIFA 19 Headliners cards is that they are “dynamic” items for FUT. If a player in the Headliners promotion earns a qualified in-form during the rest of the season, their Headliners card will reflect that. That’s a big deal based on the fact these are stars who have been on an upward trend for the first half of their seasons.

The way the FUT promotion works, the Headliners card will always stay one in-form ahead of a player’s other performance-based card. For example, EA FIFA points out Marco Reus has an 87 FIFA 19 TOTW card. That makes his Headliners card an 88. It’s a sweet promotion to take advantage of, as several of the players, if not all, have a good shot to qualify for other performance-based in-form promotions this season.
