FIFA 19 MOTM Card for Divock Origi, More RTTF Boosts as Liverpool Wins Champions League Final
The 2019 Champions League Final arrived on Saturday night with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur battling for the trophy. In the end, it was the Liverpool football club claiming the prize with a 2-0 victory. Playing a major factor in the match were Liverpool footballers Mohammed Salah and his teammate Divock Origi. The latter of these two players ended up earning the Man of the Match honors. That also resulted in an upgraded FIFA 19 MOMT card for Origi.
Divock Origin earns upgraded FIFA 19 MOTM card
In today’s huge matchup, it was Liverpool striking early behind Premier League Team of the Season representative Mohammed Salah. He’d score at the two-minute mark to give Liverpool the 1-0 lead. After a tense matchup in which goalkeeping was the centerpiece, Divock Origi connected on Liverpool’s second goal at the 87-minute mark to seal the victory.
The EA Sports FIFA account was full of congratulations for the new champions and their deserving Man of the Match player. Origi’s new FIFA 19 MOTM card boasts an 86 overall rating for the striker. His previous best was an 81 rating on his Champions League card. With his upgraded version, Origi now has 88 Pace and Shooting as well as 86 Dribbling and 82 Physical attributes.
FIFA 19 RTTF Bumps for Virgil Van Dijk, Fabinho
In addition to that stellar new card for FIFA’s Man of the Match, there were a few more ratings upgrades for star footballers. Both Virgil Van Dijk and Fanbinho received boosts to their cards as part of FIFA’s Road to the Final campaign. In that special event, cards received ratings boosts through the UEFA Champions League event based on team performance.
Van Dijk was named the final Man of the Match for today’s Champions League Final by the UEFA technical observers. Previous winners of that distinction included Gareth Bale of Real Madrid in 2018, Cristiano Ronaldo in 2017, and Sergio Ramos in 2016. Van Dijk is the first Liverpool player to win the award since 2005 when Steven Gerrard claimed the distinction.

Since he and his teammate Fabinho were on the winning side of things, they now have one final boost for their FIFA 19 cards on Road to the Final. Van Dijk has a 94 overall card with 95 Defense, 93 Physical, 83 Pace, and 82 Dribbling. Fabinho has a 91 overall with 91 Defense, 90 Physical, and 90 Passing amongst his key attributes.
Not only can gamers use these upgraded cards for their FIFA Ultimate Team, but there’s also a UEFA Champions League mode built into the game. Simply head into the feature, choose your preferred EPL team and give it a go. Liverpool are the favorites at the outset, and as seen by today’s win, they were destined for the championship!
