It’s amazing that in just around a month, we’ll finally be able to play FIFA 19! We’ve been learning all about the features of the new game since it was announced, but EA saved the most exciting announcement for last—and that is that FIFA 19 is going to feature three brand-new game modes.
You’ll be able to find the new modes in the Kick Off menu, which you probably already know is getting revamped. The new modes include:
• Elimination
• First To …
• No Rules
In Elimination Mode, anytime you score a goal, a player will be removed from your squad—at least until you are down to seven.
In First To …, there is a goal limit. This makes for shorter matches with higher pressure.
No Rules is precisely what you would guess given the name. It is quite literally a mode where the rules are taken away from the game and you can play however you want.
Along with the three brand new modes, Home vs. Away and Best Of will be offered for multi-match scoring. Home vs. Away involves two matches with the total goals scored determining who wins. Best Of is self-explanatory. You can play series of matches with the winner determined by the best-of-three or best-of-five.
FIFA 19 will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on September 28th.
