So what are Prime Icon SBC player cards? These differ from the regular SBCs as they’re based on players from the past. They are special Icons released from time-to-time in the game. These are “Prime” versions of star players of the all-time. Some of the recent Icon SBCs included George Best, Raul, Hristo Stoichkov, and Andriy Shevchenko.
The first way to obtain a FIFA 19 Icon SBC card is by randomly finding one inside a FIFA Ultimate Team pack. The Icon SBCs could show up in Gold level packs up to the Ultimate level packs. Due to the fact that these players are such iconic superstars, they’re very rare to obtain within the packs. Some gamers may find themselves pulling their hair out as they go through pack after pack without ever pulling an Icon SBC player card. That can get expensive and frustrating.
That leaves one other option: doing the Prime Icon Squad Building Challenges. A Squad Building Challenge (SBC) is a single player mode in FIFA 19 where you’ll have to build up a squad based on a particular theme or objective. Once you’ve done that, you can earn FIFA 19 coins or an SBC player card, or Prime Icons set in the game.
Earning the Prime Icon SBC player card will take some effort to complete the necessary tasks. As an example, to achieve a 93-rated George Best Icon SBC players had a set of 10 challenges they needed to complete. These included Humble Beginnings, Rising Talent, World Class, and Iconic. In addition, it was necessary to build an 83-rated squad all the way through an 88-rated squad. As you can see, it takes a bit of work to do.
