FIFA 19 Ultimate Team Of The Year Adds Fans’ Choice Neymar, Flashback SBC Ibrahimovic Available In FUT
Just recently, EA unveiled the official FIFA 19 Team of the Year lineup. It included a total of 11 players such as superstars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Kylian Mbappe. While the overall lineup was a great TOTY selected by the media and certain voters, it was in need of one more player. That 12th player is now official for the Team of the Year. In addition, some new SBC content has dropped for FIFA 19.
FIFA 19 Team of the Year Brings Neymar Jr.
Fans got to vote for the final member of the Team of the Year. It’s no surprise that Paris Saint-Germain footballer Neymar Jr. was the choice. He edged out his fellow final TOTY player nominees Mohammed Salah, Paul Pogba, Eden Hazard, and Antoine Griezmann. All of them were deserving of a spot on the team, but it’s clear the fan voting power pushed the more popular star to the 12th spot.
Neymar also tweeted the news of his addition to the team. He captioned the tweet with Portuguese, “Obrigado a todos que votaram em min,” or translated to: “Thank you to everyone who voted for me.” It’s certainly a gracious acceptance by the Brazilian soccer star who is already among the top three players in the FIFA game based on ratings.

Neymar Jr. is available in FUT packs right now, so keep a lookout for his 97-rated card. That’s certainly one you want on your Ultimate Team roster.

FIFA 19 Ultimate Team: New Content Including Flashback SBCs
In addition to the big news of Neymar joining the FIFA 19 Ultimate Team of the Year, there’s plenty more going on. A lot of new content has dropped within FUT for gamers on Friday and in the last few days. That includes a flashback SBC for Ibrahimovic with a 92 rating. The MLS’ LA Galaxy striker brings several 90s for his skills including 94 Shooting, 92 Physicality, and 91 Dribbling. Not bad at all.

Ibrahimovic was part of the FIFA 14 Team of the Year for the edition of the game years ago. Interestingly, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo made that team as well. Messi had a 94, Ronaldo had a 92, and Ibrahimovic was 89. Now he’s a 92 Flashback SBC card which gamers will certainly be looking to get in the FIFA 19 game.
In addition to Ibrahimovic, they’ve announced a new SBC for Player of the Month Virgil Van Dijk. He also is represented on the FIFA 19 Team of the Year with an 89 overall now to look for. On Thursday (Jan. 10), they also dropped an Iker Casillas Flashback SBC for the former TOTY rep.
