Footballers Giorgio Chiellini and Serge Gnabry are known for the skills on the pitch in real-life and in the FIFA video game. Now the duo has a special squad available to battle in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team. It also aligns with a special cause that the two players are especially passionate about, Common Goal.
FIFA 19 Ultimate Team Squad Battle now available
This latest squad battle appears to be quite the FIFA Ultimate Team challenge, just based on the two stars’ ratings. As the leaders of their 18-player Common Goal squad, the two players bring 99 ratings with them. Specifically, Chiellini has a 99 Passing Accuracy (PAC), 95 Passing, 99 Defense, and 99 Physicality. Gnabry brings a 99 PAC as well as 98 shooting for his top skills.
Also joining the squad is a 90-rated Mats Hummels and an 84-rated Kasper Schmeichel. There’s also a pair of 83-rated players with Shinji Kagawa and Juan Mata. VfB Stuttgart midfielder Daniel Didavi checks in with an 80. No other players are rated above 80 on the squad, though. Still, it looks like an impressive group. The full squad is below via EA’s FIFA 19 Twitter post.

FIFA 19 Ultimate Squad battle promotes Common Goal
The new FIFA 19 Ultimate Squad battle is to help promote Common Goal. The organization looks to unite members of the football community including players, managers, fans, other organizations, and brands. With a more united team, they are working to tackle some of the biggest issues facing the world today. These include the HIV/Aids epidemic, youth unemployment, gender inequality, and other major problems. An example below showcases how Team USA women’s star Alex Morgan teamed up with the organization.
Common Goal member @alexmorgan13, recently announced @ussoccer_wnt player of the year 2018, has teamed up with @Jambobukoba to use football to bring teachers, children and organisations together to advance issues such as quality education, better health and gender equality! pic.twitter.com/NocTs6HMbj

The Common Goal members each pledge one percent of their earnings to a central fund. This fund goes towards specific organizations using the money for maximum impact against these world issues. Basically, Common Goal is an organization that promotes football (soccer) and looks to create lasting changes or begin to uncover solutions for some of the world’s biggest issues. More information is available here.
As a way to spread awareness of Common Goal, Chiellini and Gnabry’s squad will be available for gamers to challenge in FIFA 19 Ultimate Team. It’s the latest in the line of special squads which previously included Anthony Joshua’s FUT team. Like Joshua’s, this will also be a limited-time opportunity, so it’s best to launch the game soon and give this tough new team a try!
