As of Wednesday evening, EA Sports announced that they’ve officially put the FIFA 20 Icons players into two other game modes. Some of the game of football’s all-time best players now appear in both Kick Off and Career modes. Here are more details about where to find the FIFA 20 Icons in the game.
How to access FIFA 20 Icons in Kick Off and Career modes
On Wednesday (June 10), The EA FIFA Direct Twitter account let gamers know that they had performed a server release. To access the team, Live Form must be set to “on” for Kick Off mode. From there, scroll over to the Rest of World category and choose the new team Soccer Aid World XI FC. This team consists of the popular FIFA 20 Icons in the game.
The FIFA 20 Icons players are also now available as part of the Career Mode in the EA football game. You’ll need to perform some steps in order to access them there, though. The Twitter video below gives more details on how to get that done in FIFA 20 Career Mode.
Who is on Soccer Aid World XI FC squad?
With the Soccer Aid World XI FC squad, gamers can play with or against all-time greats. The lowest rating you’ll find on this team is an 89, with most players at 90 or better. That includes 98 OVR Pele, 97 Diego Maradona, and as 96-rated FIFA Ultimate cover star Zidane.
The full team consists of a solid starting XI and seven substitutes as shown below. Among the players coming in as subs are Ian Rush, Robert Pires, and Henrick Larsson.
There are also 16 reserves among the FIFA 20 Icons players including Roy Keane, Alan Shearer, Sol Campbell, Ryan Giggs, and Michael Owen.
The FIFA 20 Icons players basically are players who have Icons cards in Ultimate Team. So many gamers may have already added one or more of these players to their Ultimate Team rosters. However, newer gamers may have fun using the team in Kick Off mode as a challenge.
Not only that, it can be fun to put the legends against other star-studded football teams such as Paris Saint Germain, Liverpool, or Barcelona to see how the game goes.
In addition to the Icons update, EA also announced the return date for Team of the Week and unveiled new Man of Match cards on Wednesday.
