FIFA 20 Team of the Season So Far Players Revealed for Community and EFL TOTSSF Squads
On April 24, EA revealed two of their FIFA 20 Team of the Season So Far squads featuring upgraded players. One of those was the EFL TOTSSF, while the other came from community votes. Both teams are full of deserving players, so let’s take a look at the new TOTSSF lineups and where to find them in-game.
FIFA 20 Team of the Season So Far: EFL and Community TOTSSF
We got two for the price of one on Friday when EA unveiled two teams. This year instead of the traditional “Team of the Season,” they’re doing Team of the Season So Far. The new squads honor the best players from various leagues so far this season. This is due to the suspension of pretty much all football seasons due to the coronavirus pandemic.
EA is bringing the various TOTSSF squads out for different leagues. They unveiled one for the English Football League on Friday. It features “the best and brightest to this juncture in the English Championship, League 1, and League 2.”
EFL’s TOTSSF has a pair of 92 overall players with Aleksander Mitrovic and Kalvin Phillips along with a 91 overall Matheus Pereira. Check out the full roster with starting XI, reserves, and substitutes in the tweet below.
Lineups celebrating the best of the season always bring debates. There are already some in the community wondering why certain players didn’t make the TOTSSF including Ollie Watkins who probably should be there instead of Said Benrahma.
With that said, the community also got to vote for one of these teams and chose players they felt were most deserving. The squad comes complete with a 93 overall Pique, 93 Thibaut Courtois, and 93 Thiago among others. In fact, all of the starting XI players are rated at least 90 or better. Each TOTSSF has 11 starters and then nine players for the substitutes and reserves. So since both of the FIFA 20 Team of the Season So Far rosters above feature just 20 players it leaves a bit of room for SBC or Objectives players.
Where to find the TOTSSF player items
The FIFA 20 Team of the Season So Far players are available in packs in Ultimate Team. In addition, gamers can purchase individual players they want from the Transfer Market. Some of those players with high-rated cards could carry expensive prices, though.
The new TOTSSF reveals come days after another promotional squad, Team of the Week Moments 6 arrived to honor previous TOTW members with freshly upgraded cards in FIFA 20.
