FIFA 20 Team of the Week 1 Revealed: Sadio Mane, Karim Benzema Lead First TOTW
With the FIFA 20 release date arriving next week, EA has unveiled the first of their Ultimate Team of the Week lineups. As with FIFA 19 TOTWs, these lineups include the players who performed best on the pitch in recent football matchups. For the FIFA 20 Team of the Week 1, the top stars will include Karim Benzema, Sadio Mane, and goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
EA reveals new FIFA 20 Team of the Week 1
There wasn’t much of a layoff between the final FIFA 19 Team of the Week and the first new FIFA 20 TOTW. Gamers are now learning which players are the first to be available ahead of EA’s new game arrives next Friday.
The top overall rating in the group goes to two different players. Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and Liverpool striker Sadio Mane both come in with an 89 OVR. They’re followed by two other star footballers with 88 OVRs. Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema and Napoli’s Dries Mertens each bring 88 overall ratings for this stellar first Team of the Week in FIFA 20.

As with most FIFA Team of the Week reveals, gamers tend to react based on how good they feel the lineup is and whether players are deserving. Some gamers are already asking if this might be the best Team of the Week 1 ever in a FIFA game. Others are suggesting which players were snubs including Norwich players or Amine Harit, based on recent performances.
Who are TOTW 1 Substitutes & Reserves?
In addition to the Starting XI, there are 12 other players who make up the FIFA 20 Team of the Week 1 substitutes and reserves. Here’s who made the first lineup and it’s certainly packed with stars as well.

FIFA Ultimate Team will have TOTW players available through packs as well as the Transfer Market in the game. This starts as of 6 p.m. UK time on the day the team is revealed. Additionally, gamers are able to challenge the FIFA 20 Team of the Week 1 with their own Ultimate Team to see how they fare.
