FIFA 20 Team of the Week 40 Players Revealed Including Dybala, Aubameyang, and Vardy
EA’s FIFA Team of the Week returned to Ultimate Team several weeks ago, and we’ve now got the 40th installment. With soccer back in business in many regions, it means new upgraded player items for the best performers on the pitch. With FIFA 20 Team of the Week, 40 gamers will find new items for Paulo Dybala, Jamie Vardy, and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
FIFA 20 Team of the Week 40 Starting XI
In the Ultimate Team mode for the FIFA 20 game, one of the weekly features involves bringing out new cards to reward the best real-world player performances of the past week. With FIFA 20 Team of the Week 40, we’ve got two players who received 91 overall ratings for upgraded cards.
First up is striker Paulo Dybala from the fictional Piemonte Calcio team (Juventus). His card includes a 93 Dribbling, 89 Passing, 88 Shooting, and 86 Pace for attributes.
Also getting high attributes is Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who previously appeared among TOTW 24 players. His 91 OVR card brings 97 Pace, 89 Shooting, 87 Dribbling, and 80 Passing for top attributes.
Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy gets an 88 overall card with 93 Pace, while Atletico de Madrid CM Saul brings a well-rounded item with mostly low-to-mid-80s ratings. Here’s the full team as presented earlier via Twitter:
As with most Team of the Week reveals, there were certain players that members of the FIFA community felt were snubbed. In particular, Christian Pulisic is a name that is being mentioned quite often as potentially robbed of a spot in TOTW.
The Chelsea left-wing has been one of the hottest players in the EPL. He scored a key goal in his team’s 3-2 victory over Crystal Palace on Tuesday and registered an assist in the 3-0 win over Watford on July 4.
TOTW 40 Substitutes and Reserves
A dozen more players will also be found in packs as part of the new Team of the Week 40. They range from 75 to 86 OVR, with Inter’s Alexis Sanchez getting the highest-rated of the player cards. Here’s a look at all 12 substitutes and reserves.

The FIFA Team of the Week 40 players went live in Ultimate Team via packs as of 6 p.m. UK time. In addition to gamers being able to randomly acquire them through select FUT packs, player cards also go up for bids and buying at the Transfer Market.
In addition, gamers can challenge the new TOTW 40 with their own Ultimate Team to see how they fare. This will last for a week, until we see the arrival of a brand new squad of top performers.
