FIFA 20 Ultimate TOTSSF Squad Arrives With Lewandowski, Messi, and Ronaldo Among Star Players
While EA has been quiet on social media lately in order to show support for protests against racial inequality, they have continued to release new content in the FIFA 20 game. On Friday, June 5 they unveiled the new FIFA 20 Ultimate TOTSSF. This latest Team of the Season So Far brings the biggest stars from all of the leagues together for a massive collection of talent. Amongst the 20 players revealed are headliners Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Robert Lewandowski.
Robert Lewandowski among five 99 OVR players on FIFA 20 Ultimate TOTSSF squad
While the new FIFA 20 Ultimate TOTSSF squad wasn’t shown via tweet, it arrived in the Ultimate Team mode on Friday. As one would expect, it features the top stars in the world of international football. Five of them come in with new 99-rated cards. That includes the usual stars such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but not Neymar Jr. who gets just a 98.
However, FIFA cover star Virgil Van Dijk, Bundesliga TOTSSF star Robert Lewandowski, and Kevin de Bruyne each get new 99 OVR cards as shown below. Player cards are basically rated from 94 overall up to 99 with other stars including Kylian Mbappe, Circo Immobile, Ben Yedder, Mats Hummels, and Jan Oblak.

As seen above, four Liverpool players made the squad as the most of any squad. Other teams with multiple players selected included PSG, Real Madrid, and Lazio.
With the above list of players, many members of the FIFA community are questioning several selections and omissions. The biggest gripes so far have been the inclusions of Sommer and Hummers over stars such as Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos.
Where to get the new player cards, other content
For the new FIFA 20 Ultimate TOTSSF squad, player items are available in select FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) packs as of 1 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday (June 5). With the packs, it’s the better, more expensive packs that bring a higher chance of landing a TOTSSF player item.
Otherwise, player cards will pop up on the Transfer Market, for very high prices due to the high ratings of these cards. FUTBIN’s team page is showing that some cards are under 100K FUT Coins such as Oblak, Hummels, Sommer, and Immobile. Other cards are at astronomical prices including over five million Coins each for Neymar Jr. and Wissam Ben Yedder items.
In addition to all 20 player cards shown up above, there may be more content on the way. With the previous Team of the Season So Far lineups, gamers also got some Player Objectives and Squad Building Challenges. It wouldn’t be surprising to see some of those arrive with this TOTSSF too.
In an update, we did see more content arrive with Ultimate TOTSSF. That includes a new Dries Mertens SBC and Jack Grealish Moments Objectives. We’ll have more details on those in future posts.
