FIFA 21 Ultimate Team of the Season: TOTS Players Include Messi, Ronaldo, and Lewandowski
It’s down to the best of the best, with FIFA 21 Ultimate Team of the Season officially released into the game mode. This one is headlined by two of the game’s best, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, who continue to make the lineup each year. However, one of their usual TOTS teammates is not part of the lineup and fans have certainly let EA’s FIFA know about it. Here’s a look at who all made the lineup and other key details for the latest FIFA 21 TOTS.
FIFA 21 Ultimate Team of the Season includes Messi, Ronaldo, Lewandowski
Due to the pandemic in 2020, there was a FIFA Team of the Season So Far, rather than the typical TOTS lineup of players. There was also a Team of the Year which featured Lionel Messi among the Starting XI. The community voted on a 12th man and that was Cristiano Ronaldo.
Both players are here for FIFA 21 Ultimate Team of the Season with 98 OVRs. Messi’s card features 99 Shooting and Dribbling as well as 96 Passing, 91 Pace, and 80 Physical. Ronaldo gets 99 Shooting, 95 Pace, 95 Dribbling, and 90 Passing.
Robert Lewandowski joins them in the Starting XI, also with a 98 OVR. His card boasts 97 Shooting, 95 Dribbling, 93 Pace, and 92 Physical attributes. Some people are pointing out that his shooting attribute is a touch lower than Erling Haaland’s. Fans may have a legitimate gripe there, as Lewandowski broke a 49-year-old goals-scored record just a few weeks ago and is considered the Balon D’or frontrunner.
The other players in the Starting XI are a who’s who of the world’s top stars including FIFA 21 cover star Kylian Mbappe (97 OVR), Harry Kane (96 OVR), and Kevin de Bruyne (96 OVR). It wouldn’t be complete without Jan Oblak protecting the goal. Check out the full lineup of FIFA 21 TOT
Bench players, TOTS snubs?
The bench brings four players with CB Stefan de Vrij (92 OVR), LM Jonathan Bamba (92 OVR), LB Theo Hernandez (92 OVR), and RB Joao Cancelo (91 OVR).
As noted, Neymar Jr. is missing from this lineup, and some fans felt he deserved a spot. The same goes for Haaland, mentioned above with Lewandowski, who also had a standout season. That said, the lineup is limited to a select number and EA’s selection staff went with their top picks for the packs.

TOTS players availability, PL POTS voting underway
As of Friday, FIFA 21 Ultimate Team of the Season players became available randomly in select packs. In addition, individual player cards can be purchased through the Transfer Market with bidding or “buy now” options.
Based on FUTBIN data, Lewandowski cards have prices ranging from 1.5 million Coins to about two million Coins. Messi’s cards are going from 2.7 million Coins (PS4) to nearly four million Coins (Origin/Steam). Ronaldo tops them both as his new FIFA 21 TOTS item is going for 5.38 million to 9.78 million Coins.
In addition to the recent Team of the Season release, there is also voting going on to determine the Premier League Player of the Season. As seen below, several of the nominees appear in Ultimate TOTS including Kevin de Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes, and Mohammad Salah.
