That included a look at the new cover featuring returning star, Kylian Mbappe, of Paris Saint-Germain. A game reveal trailer also arrived this past weekend, featuring Mbappe and other stars in real-life and video game footage. In addition, we now have FIFA 22 pre-order details, but they’ll differ based on the current, next-gen, and other platforms.
FIFA 22 Pre-order Details for Standard Edition (Current, Next-Gen, PC)
The base edition of the game is the FIFA 22 Standard Edition, which has an official release date of October 1, 2021. It includes the base game and a few extras including a player from FIFA 22 Team of the Week 1, a Kylian Mbappe loan item, and more. Here’s everything included:

PS5 or Xbox Series X/S: The FIFA 22 pre-order details for next-gen’s Standard Edition include a higher price of $69.99 for the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S consoles. There’s also that 10 percent discount for EA Play members.
Windows PC: The game is also available for PC via Origin or Steam download and has a price of $59.99 for these platforms.

Ultimate Edition includes early access, bonus content
For gamers who want to play the game even earlier, the FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition one way to go, as customers who get this edition can start playing on August 27, 2021.
The FIFA 22 pre-order details indicate that Ultimate Edition will be available for all systems. It also brings Dual Entitlement for PlayStation and Xbox gamers. With Dual Entitlement, gamers can upgrade the game free of charge from PS4 to PS5 or from Xbox One to Series X/S consoles. That allows for experiencing the game on current and next-gen.
