FIFA Team Of the Week 29 Revealed: Iago Aspas, Marquinhos Headline Latest FUT TOTW Lineup
It’s Wednesday and that means the reveal for a brand new FIFA Team of the Week. We’re now up to the 29th installment in the weekly FIFA Ultimate Team release. This week’s TOTW lineup brings a number of star players with mid-to-high 80s ratings including Iago Aspas and Marquinhos. Let’s take a look at the latest FIFA 19 Team of The Week 29 highlights and details.
FIFA Team of the Week 29 Starting XI includes Marquinhos, Aspas
For the TOTW 28 squad we had Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard leading the way. These two players were a 94 and 91, respectively, on that starting XI. This week’s starters don’t include any 90-rated stars, but still packs some power nonetheless. Marquinhos and Iago Aspas each bring an 88 while a number of others have 87 ratings this week.
Iago Aspas earns the honor this week after helping his Celta Vigo club defeat Villareal 3-2. He had two of the team’s three goals in the victory. Meanwhile, PSG’s Marquinhos helps bring the defensive pressure for this TOTW 29 starting unit. He’s joined by an 87-rated Robertson and Burnley’s Ben Mee (83).
Protecting the goal for TOTW 29 is Vicente Guaita (84) of Crystal Palace. He helped his club with a clean sheet and noteworthy performance in the win against Huddersfield. Check out the complete lineup below.
Perhaps the biggest surprise with TOTW 29 is the lack of more Premier League players in the lineup. Some fans and sites predicted that Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva might get onto this team. That said, it still provided plenty of other players the opportunity to have a starring role on FIFA’s weekly squad after their latest performances.
FIFA 19 Team of the Week 29 Substitutes, Reserves
There’s an 86 Vela amongst this week’s substitute players, giving a high-rated star in that part of the team. Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi also cracks the substitutes, and that gave his club good reason to celebrate the honor. The latest FIFA Team of the Week is available through Ultimate Team (FUT) packs as of 6 p.m. UK time. Gamers can purchase the packs, or purchase the player cards they want on the transfer market. In addition, there’s the ability to challenge this squad to see how your own Ultimate Team fares against the competition.
