The final Spider-Man DLC will be releasing next week. The Silver Linings DLC is the third and final part of The City That Never Sleeps DLC expansion trilogy. It will complete the story that began with the first DLC The Heist back in October. The second DLC Turf Wars followed up on that story last month and now we have the final part.
The Spider-Man DLC Silver Linings will release on Friday, December 21, 2018. There are actually a few different ways that you can access this last DLC in the trilogy. For one, you can get it as part of the season pass that costs $24.99. Grabbing the season pass will net you access to the first two DLC expansions in the trilogy as well.
In addition, you are, for some reason, not interested in playing the first two, you can purchase it standalone for $9.99. Lastly, there is one final way that you can get this DLC. Interestingly enough, there is a direct tie-in with the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse animated film that releases tomorrow on December 14. If you pre-order the film on the PlayStation Store, you will get this final DLC part for free as well as other goodies.
As for what the Spider-Man DLC Silver Linings is about, it will focus more on Silver Sable. Without spoiling too much, the leader of the major corporation will be returning in order to reclaim some stolen tech. Beyond the story itself, players will also receive other in-game content to complete and earn.
There are three new suits as you can see above. There will also be new missions, new enemy types, upgraded enemy bases, new challenges, trophies, and much more. It is currently unknown if there will be another set of DLC following the Spider-Man DLC Silver Linings but be sure to check back in the future for more info.
