The Five Sectors of Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk Map

The new Call of Duty: Warzone Verdansk map, the only map currently available in the new battle royale game, is one of the franchise’s largest maps to date. Ranging from a colossal dam to the Verdansk Stadium and more, the map is divided into five different sectors. In fact, Modern Warfare players may even notice some familiar environs, as several of the game’s maps actually take place within Verdansk!

The first of the five regions of the Call of Duty: Warzone Verdansk map is the North Sector. This frigid area includes the Gora Dam, which looms over much of the rest of the map, as well as the Arklov Peak Military Base. Notably, Modern Warfare players may find themselves on the Karst River Quarry map if they venture into the northeast portion of the sector.

To the east, players will move from the North Sector to the East Sector. This rural region may be mostly open fields, but does include several key locations. Krovnik Farmland, another Modern Warfare map, can be found here, as can the Verdansk Port. Additionally, the Zordaya Prison Complex is located here. Continuing south and clockwise around the map, you’ll reach the Central Sector and South Sector. Together, these two areas comprise a huge part of the map, starting at the Gravna Bridge.

These two sectors contain several more major landmarks, including the Verdansk Stadium. Tavorsk offers dense urban battlefields that are totally different to the fields of the East Sector, especially in Downtown Tavorsk. Finally, as you complete a circuit of the map, you’ll reach the Southwest Sector. You’ll be able to find the Verdansk Hospital here, as well as a Kart Racing Track, of all things. Although the terrain here is rougher than in the east, it’s also not as urban as the area around Tavorsk. With an area this large, it’ll no doubt take players a little while to familiarise themselves with the new environs. However, given that Verdansk is Call of Duty: Warzone’s only map, players should get plenty of practice.
