Fortnite Battle Royale season 5 is slowly coming to its end. With less than a month left to go, players are slowly being introduced to season 6, as Epic Games is releasing some big in-game events. Shortly after Tomato Town was turned into Tomato Temple, a giant mysterious cube had appeared on the map, and no one knows exactly what its purpose is.
The cube has been moving for a few days, and it has recently started leaving burning runes on the ground. Additionally, the cube provides a low-gravity area for everyone who approaches it, allowing players to engage in high-flying close-range gunfights.
According to FNBRLeaks Twitter page, the giant cube will reach Loot Lake, which will be its final destination. It will supposedly leave a few more runes on the ground, which are definitely hinting at something, possibly the destruction of Tilted Towers or another area on the island.

A few previous leaks have indicated that Salty Springs would be destroyed, so it is hard to tell what exactly will happen. However, considering that Loot Lake and Salty Springs have been in the game since its release, we can expect both of these places to be destroyed by the cube.
Additionally, Tilted Towers could be gone as well. This is arguably the most popular place in the entire game, which is why the game developer may decide to replace it with something else. While Tilted Towers area hasn’t been in the game since last September, it was released in January, which means that it’s been in the game long enough.
Epic Games has hinted at the destruction of Tilted Towers for a few months now, so are we finally going to see it in season 5? With season 6 scheduled for late September, Fortnite Battle Royale players should get a few more big events in the following weeks. Hopefully, these events will bring more answers than questions, and that players will be satisfied with them.
