Fortnite Battle Royale players are just a few more days away from getting another set of weekly challenges. Season 5 will enter its seventh week on Thursday, August 23, and players will get seven new challenges.
Week 7 challenges have already been leaked, and players can see what’s waiting for them on Thursday. Just like before, there will be three hard challenges and four easy ones. The reward for completing four challenges is 7,000 Season XP, while completing all of them will reward players with five Battle Pass tiers and a special Battle Star which gives another tier.
Once again, weekly challenges will be available to both free players and those who own Season 5 Battle Pass. Free players will get three challenges, while Battle Pass owners will be able to complete all of them.
Free challenges
The first easy challenge will require players to move around the map and visit centers of four named locations in a single match. This shouldn’t be a difficult task as there are a few named places that are very close to each other. For example, this challenge can be easily completed by landing at Junk Junction, going south to Haunted Hills, visiting Pleasant Park, then going to either Loot Lake, Lazy Links, or Tilted Towers.
Players will have to open three supply drops for the third challenge, which is something that can be easily done in Soaring 50’s limited-time game mode. The third challenge will also be relatively simple as it will require three SMG eliminations.
Battle Pass challenges
Week 7 Battle Pass challenges will have players visit Lazy Links and Lucky Landing, so we can expect these two areas to be hot landing zones. Fortnite Battle Royale players will have to eliminate three opponents in Lazy Links, while the southernmost area of the island will be visited by those who need to open seven chests for the challenge.
There will be another challenge that includes a treasure map, and this map will be found in Pleasant Park. Finally, the seventh challenge will require players to deal 500 headshot damage to their enemies. Considering that the last challenge was recently in the game, we can expect Epic Games to replace it and come up with another task.
Week 7 challenges will be important since they are the final requirement for unlocking the special Road Trip skin. The requirement for this skin is completing all weekly challenges in seven different weeks, which means that many Fortnite Battle Royale players will have this skin on Thursday.
