Epic Games has managed to completely change the Fortnite Battle Royale gameplay with limited-time game modes. The game developer releases new modes from time to time, allowing players to take a break from a standard battle royale action and try something different. Right now, Fortnite has Soaring 50’s and Playground limited-time game modes available, but another mode will be added soon.
The Fortnite creator has announced that players will get Disco Domination limited-time game mode soon. At the moment, we don’t have any information on what this mode will be like, but it definitely sounds different and unique.
Fortnite Disco Domination Game Mode
“Capture and defend Dance Floors around the island using emotes to earn points,” is the description of the upcoming mode. Judging from it, we can expect the LTM to be similar to the Domination mode in Call of Duty and other shooter games.
If this turns out to be true, players will fight to gain control over different points (dance floors) on the map. After gaining control over a dance floor, players will have to protect it to earn points.
However, it appears that Fortnite Battle Royale’s mode will have a twist. Players will be able to earn points by using emotes, and this could make things more interesting. It is possible that players will be forced to dance on a dance floor in order to gain points. This way, they will be exposed to enemy attacks and won’t be able to fire back in time.
At the moment, it is unknown what team size the upcoming mode will require. However, the released teaser image showed four players dancing, so we believe it will be played in a squad mode. Additionally, the release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but we can expect it to come out on Tuesday, October 2.
