Epic Games has given players new details on what’s coming in tomorrow’s weekly content update. The biggest one is the news that the Fortnite Dual Pistols are making their triumphant return this week. This is great news for anyone who likes this unique weapon that lets you fire two weapons at once. There is nothing quite like this weapon so some players are happy to see it return.
The Fortnite Dual Pistols return announcement was given by Epic Games’ Design Lead on Fortnite Eric Williamson. Williamson took to his personal Twitter to announce the changes that are coming with this latest weekly content update. While it’s currently unknown if there will be a patch to download tomorrow, we do know what will come with the new patch.
Fortnite Dual Pistols Details
Eric Williamson didn’t give any specific details about why the Dual Pistols are returning to the game, especially since they haven’t been gone as long as other retired weapons. It isn’t often, after all, that players get to see their favorites make a return. Even some of the certain weapons that have returned (like the Smoke Grenade) were only for a short period of time.
However, it does seem like the Fortnite Dual Pistols will be around for a little bit longer than the Smoke Grenade. It’s even possible that Epic Games has changed the pistols to make them a permanent member of the Battle Royale arsenal. Regardless of the reason why, the return of the pistols is a great thing for fans.
In addition, though, there are some other changes coming with the update. Players can also look forward to some tweaks to the new Boom Box item, the Stormwing, and Dynamite. As for what these tweaks are exactly, we don’t know just yet. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the full patch notes.
