Epic Games has recently released the v18.10 update for Fortnite Battle Royale. The update has brought several new things to the game, including smaller map changes. However, Fortnite leakers have revealed a new map change that will come to Fortnite later in the season.
It appears that Epic Games is planning to do constant map changes to Fortnite, just like it was the case before. Cubes are spreading corruption and it will be interesting to see what the map will look like at the end of the season. The latest leak reveals a cube-inspired landmark that looks very different!
Another big Fortnite map change is coming soon
The truth is that Epic Games could have done a much better job with a Season 8 map. The previous season has ended with a destructive live event that seemingly did massive damage to the island. Players could see many places blowing up at the end of the event, which is why they hoped the map would get huge changes at the start of Season 8. However, that did not happen. Epic Games has changed the map, but the change was rather disappointing.
On the bright side, it appears that the game developer will keep releasing map changes more often. Cubes around the map are constantly spreading corruption and the latest patch has brought some small map changes, such as the Steamy Stacks change. However, the biggest addition may as well be the leak that was shared by data miners. They claim that a cube-inspired landmark called Cube Town is coming to the map.
As it can be seen in the image, this landmark will be made of purple cubes. Furthermore, it will have many chests players can loot. It seems that its location will be at the center of the map, which is another great news. Considering that this season is all about the cubes, adding this landmark makes a lot of sense.
Tilted Towers is also coming back?
Epic Games has teased Fortnite Battle Royale players with the return of Tilted Towers. This location was the most popular landing spot back in Chapter 1 and there is no doubt that its return would be huge for the game.
At the moment, it is unknown if Epic Games is planning to do this exactly but players are definitely hoping that’s the case!
