The Fortnite OG map is finally returning to the popular video game. Epic Games had this map in the game during Chapter 1, from September 2017 to October 2019, but it hasn’t been available since then.
The original map was completely obliterated with The End event. They have been many attempts to recreate the original map in the Creative mode. However, while some creators have done a fantastic job with these maps, there are still nowhere as good as the actual map.
Fortunately, Fortnite players will be able to play the actual map very soon. Here is all the info you need to know about it.
UPDATE (March 22): The map is ready to play and is in the process of publishing. Atlas Creative, the map designer, created a Twitter account (@AtlasOGBR) where the map code will be posted.
Fortnite OG map will return very soon
As many players are already aware, Epic Games will release the Unreal Engine Editor for Fortnite on Wednesday, March 22. This update is also known as Creative 2.0 and many players can’t wait for it to finally come out.
Atlas Creative is a game studio that is well known for creating incredible maps in Fortnite’s Creative mode. The game studio has already teased players with the return of the Fortnite OG map. The map will be released very soon.
According to the video teaser by Atlas Creative, the OG map that returns will be the first-ever map that was released to the video game. This is the map that was active during the first season of the game, but was updated in Season 2.
Due to this, some iconic locations, such as Tilted Towers and Shifty Shafts, will not be available on the Fortnite OG map. The first-ever map doesn’t have a lot of named locations. However, it does have a lot of open places and it will be interesting to see how players like them.
