Epic Games has recently released the developer update which revealed some upcoming gameplay changes for Fortnite Battle Royale. Lead developer Eric Williamson talked about the changes that will come with the patch 5.40, but players have also noticed one thing the developer did not mention in the update.
The game developer released the developer update as a video, showing some of the upcoming changes to the game. One part of the video showed that a new building will soon be added to Tilted Towers, and it will most likely be released with the patch.
The screenshot below was taken around 0:40 mark from the developer update, and it shows the new building that is coming to Tilted Towers. The building has a fish on it, which looks almost identical to the fish seen on the Leviathan loading screen for Fortnite Battle Royale. Additionally, players can see balloons and ribbons on the building, which may indicate its grand opening.
The completion of this building will most likely conclude subtle changes to Tilted Towers. Many players who played in season 4 remember that the building was built on top of the crater that was appeared after the meteor strike. Epic Games has changed it a few times, and it appears that the upcoming patch will bring its final change.
The screenshot also shows Rare Dual Pistols, which will be another change that will come with the next week’s patch. Epic Games will release a couple of big gameplay changes which will force some players to change their end-game strategy.
Patch 5.40 will most likely come out on Tuesday, September 4, unless the game developer decides to postpone it once again. This will be one of the biggest patches in season 5, so we expect big things from it. Beside all the gameplay changes and the new building, players will get a new event that has an exclusive skin!
