Fortnite season seven is in its third week and there are tons of new things happening in the game right now. With the addition of the new snowy biome and the 14 Days of Fortnite even, Fortnite is completely set up for this year’s holiday season. Now it seems like Epic Games is slowly preparing for this seasons major event. Data miners made a huge discovery about the addition of “Dragon Eggs” to the game.
Fortnite’s Ice Castle Is Hiding The Dragon Eggs
The new game files added with patch v7.10 led to the discovery of these eggs. One of the files was named as “IceCastle_Egg” and it was placed in the “IceCastle” directory. There is no location in the game that is named “Ice Castle,” but it may be referring to Polar Peak. User @srdrabx posted the following image on Twitter:
While some players doubt that there’s something inside the eggs, there were also audio files found in the game that are related to these eggs. One of the audio files named “IceCastle_Drips_01” hints that the snow on Polar Peak might melt. Once that happens, a giant castle will appear on the snowy hill. The second leaked audio file is even more interesting. The audio file is named “IceCastle_Egg_01” and sounds like a heartbeat.

Now that it’s confirmed that there is something inside the eggs, the new event might be related to its hatching. The secret place is not accessible, although a player was able to visit the place with the help of glitches.
The lower part of the eggs are covered in icy scales but the rest of the transparent portion casts a silhouette of the creature inside it. Currently, the infant-creatures don’t resemble dragons, but they might grow once Fortnite officially unlocks this Castle for the players. With the addition of planes, it won’t be a surprise if Epic Games adds dragons as another mean of aerial transportation. Whatever the case may be, it will really epic to see dragons flying all across the map.
