Fortnite Battle Royale players have been very creative when it comes to figuring out different winning strategies. Sometimes, players discover some things Epic Games did not even intend to put in the game. One such thing is the rocket riding, which is something Fortnite community has been doing for almost a year now.
One of the strategies some Fortnite players had been using before was the edit wall peeking. This trick allowed players to peek through their structures without getting exposed to enemies. The game developer removed nerfed this in the v4.5 patch, but it turns out that there is another way to look through walls.
Looking through walls
Streamer Marcos Gonzalez has recently revealed a useful trick which can help players gain an advantage in certain situations. While the Fortnite developer did remove the edit peek trick, players have found a new way to peek without risking much.
The streamer has clarified that a lot of players already know this trick, but not many of them use it. According to the player, this trick can only be used in player-built structures. Unlike the edit trick, this strategy only allows Fortnite players to peek through one third of the wall. However, this can be very useful in certain situations.
As you can see in the video above, all you need to do is to move to the right wall in your base. After that, the camera will clip about one third of the wall, allowing players to see what’s outside while staying in the base.
It is currently unknown whether or not Epic Games is aware of this. There is no doubt that this trick will become popular now, so the game developer may decide to do something about it. This strategy is far from perfect, but it won’t be surprising if the developer nerfs it.
