Fortnite Players Can Now Play the Realistic OG Map

The Fortnite OG map has been removed from the battle royale mode for over two years. In October 2019, Chapter 1 has come to an end with massive destruction of the original map. Epic Games has released a completely new map with the start of Chapter 2 which has completely changed the game.

While a new map was exactly what most Fortnite players had wanted, they started missing the original map just a few months into the new chapter. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that Epic Games has plans to bring it back soon, which is why the community has decided to take care of it.

The realistic Fortnite OG map is now available in the Creative mode

Epic Games may add the Fortnite OG map at some point in the future. However, it may take years for the old map to be released again and many players don’t want to wait for that long. While there are theories that the game developer will bring the old map back for Chapter 3, nothing has been confirmed yet.

TheBoyDilly, one of the Fortnite players, has decided to recreate the Fortnite OG map. He did it in the Creative mode and the map looks amazing! According to the creator, this is the map that was released during Season 2 of the popular video game. This means that includes many popular POIs, including Tilted Towers!

The creative map offers a 50-player battle royale lobby. Furthermore, players have access to the OG loot pool and weekly Battle Stars. The creative map is called “Athena Royale” and is a reference to the Chapter 1 map (Athena).

How to access the map

Fortnite Battle Royale players can access the map through the Creative mode or through the link on the Epic Games website. The map code is 3206-9524-5936.

This version of the Fortnite OG map offers accurate POIs and it lets players relive the old memories. It is definitely one of the greatest maps ever made in Creative and there is no doubt that it will be very popular. While it still has some glitches, the creator is working on fixing them and making the experience enjoyable for everyone.
