Fortnite Battle Royale players have to get used to new pool changes once again. With the release of Season 7, Epic Games has brought several weapons back to the Vault, making them available in the game. On the other side, a few items have been vaulted and may not return this season. It is safe to say that Fortnite Season 7 weapons will force players to adapt once again as they are much different from the weapon pool in Season 6.
Considering that Season 6 had a primal theme, the removal of some weapons was not surprising. However, vaulting items such as the Harpoon Gun was not expected by the Fortnite developer. All in all, Season 7 has a much different loot pool, so let’s check out all the items that have either been added to the Vault or removed from it!
Vaulted weapons in Fortnite Season 7
Season 6 of Fortnite Battle Royale introduced players to Makeshift and Primal weapons. Makeshift were base weapons players could turn into either Primal or Mechanical weapons, while Primal were a special type of weapons exclusive to the season. Both of these weapon types have been removed at the start of Season 7.
Bows were another weapon exclusive to the season, which is why every variant of this weapon has been vaulted.
Epic Games has also removed the Infantry Rifle and the Revolver from the game, as well as the Harpoon Gun. Considering that fishing is still a big part of the game, the vaulting of Harpoon Gun was rather surprising as this weapon had been in the game for the past six seasons. It was added almost at the beginning of Chapter 2, which is the chapter that has added fishing to the game.
Dual Pistols, which were briefly available in Season 6, were vaulted, as well as the Shockwave Grenade and Vendetta Flopper.
Unvaulted weapons and items in the new Fortnite season
Sniper Rifles have been unvaulted in Season 7 of Fortnite Battle Royale, which is a fantastic news for many players. This long-range weapon comes in Rare, Epic, and Legendary rarities. Players can get it from the floor or chests, as well as from Supply Drops and Vending Machines.
Heavy Assault Rifles and Burst Assault Rifles are also back to the game. While the Heavy Assault Rifle can be found from most loot sources, the latter variant can only be crafted. Assault Rifles can be turned into Burst Assault Rifles with the new crafting item, Nuts and Bolts.
Two other unvaulted weapons can also be crafted this season, Rapid Fire SMG and Lever Action Shotgun. The crafting material is the same for all weapons, but the base item is different. In this case, a Rapid Fire SMG requires a standard SMG and Nuts and Bolts, while crafting a Lever Action Shotgun requires either a Pump or a Tactical Shotgun and the crafting material.
When it comes to handguns, all five rarities of a Pistol have been unvaulted. Furthermore, Hand Cannons are back for good as well.
Finally, the Launch Pad is back for an increased mobility. Watch the skies!
