Fortnite Season 7: How to Unlock Super Styles for Battle Pass Skins
Fortnite Battle Pass skins have gone through numerous changes in the past three years. The first two Battle Passes only had basic styles, but Season 4 has added selectable styles for the final skin, Omega. In Chapter 2 – Season 1, Epic Games introduced super styles for the 8-Ball vs. Scratch skin. Players needed to reach level 350 to fully unlock the Corrupted style for this skin. Ever since then, each season has had super (foil) styles which required players to level up beyond level 100.
Season 7 of the second chapter is not an exception and the v17.10 update has finally brought the extra styles for Battle Pass skins. Unlike in the previous seasons, players will have to spend Battle Stars to unlock the special styles. However, considering that the stars can be earned by leveling up, the process is pretty much the same.
Fortnite super styles in Season 7
In Fortnite Season 7, there are three different tiers of super styles. The first tier will be a silver tier, while the second one will be gold. The final tier will be the foil which is a colorful style. Five Battle Pass skins have super styles, including Doctor Slone and Rick Sanchez.
Unlocking super styles costs 20 Battle Stars each, however, players first have to unlock the pages these styles are on.
In the tweet below, you can see all the special styles that have been added with the latest Fortnite update. According to Hypex, some of the styles will not be accessible immediately, which means that Epic Games could change their price before the official release. While it’s currently almost impossible to calculate the maximum level needed to unlock all of these skins, it most likely will not exceed 250.
How to level up quickly in Fortnite
Leveling up quickly in Fortnite can be done by buying Battle Stars. However, those who do not want to do this can level up by completing challenges. Each day, there will be three daily challenges which reward players with 17,000 XP. Furthermore, completing Legendary and Epic challenges, which are released every week, is a must.
When it comes to game modes, players can complete most challenges in Team Rumble. Getting eliminations and assists is extremely easy in this mode and also, players can use it to complete challenges that require them to open chests, visit locations, and others.
