Fortnite Battle Royale has established itself as a king of battle royale video games. It has overtaken PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in popularity, and it seems that it just keeps getting more popular. Furthermore, the popular video game remains unfazed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
One of the best things about the latest Call of Duty game is its Blackout mode. This is a battle royale mode, and unlike Fortnite Battle Royale, it is focused on a realistic combat. However, the video game hasn’t been able to take Fortnite down, and it most likely won’t happen anytime soon.
Fortnite is still number one
What makes Fortnite Battle Royale unique is its building aspect. While Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is a great game, its battle royale mode simply cannot be compared to Fortnite. Epic Games has created a fantastic video game with some unique elements, and it is very unlikely that the Blackout will surpass it.
Fortnite Battle Royale has established itself as the best battle royale game for a few months now. It has easily surpassed PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and the Blackout mode looks just like an improved version of PUBG.
According to The eSports Observer, Fortnite has had almost 7 million Twitch viewers more than Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in the past week. After a strong start, Call of Duty has dropped to 10.50 million viewers in the last seven days. On the other side, Fortnite has had 17.35 million viewers, just 0.32 million fewer than the first-ranked game, League of Legends. However, Fortnite has been getting a lot of viewers lately and it is expected to become number one in a few days.
Fortnite’s peak for the past week happened on Wednesday, October 24. The video game had 3.12 million Twitch viewers on this day alone. In comparison, Call of Duty had 2.06 million viewers on October 22 and 2.20 million viewers on October 23. It has failed to get more than 1.62 million viewers in any other day of the week.
