Fortnite’s v7.10 Final Content Update Adds Suppressed Sniper Rifle
The Suppressed Sniper Rifle, which was leaked by data miners, is finally added to Fortnite. A few days ago, Fortnite leaker “Lucas7yoshi” found 3D models and data files for a new “silenced” weapon. The name of the file revealed that the weapon had been added to the Battle Royale mode of Fortnite, but it wasn’t released yet. Yesterday, Fortnite’s in-game news gave fans the first, official look at this new weapon and it can be found in the game today.
Other Changes Made In Fortnite Content Update
First of all, this new version of Sniper Rifle comes in two rarities, Epic and Legendary. Not only does it hide your location, but it is also extremely powerful. Below are the stats for the Suppressed Sniper Rifle:

Even though Epic Games has mentioned that this new weapon trades stealth for power, it is still overpowered. The quick reload speed can give players an edge during tough battles at a range. Just like most of the other weapons, Suppressed Sniper Rifle can be found from chests, floor loot, Vending Machines, and Supply Drops.
Aside from the addition of this weapon, the Six Shooter has finally been vaulted in this update. It was one of the most disliked weapons in the game, and Epic Games finally realized that it would be better to remove the weapon completely instead of making changes to it. Common, uncommon, and rare variants of the Burst Assault Rifle have also been vaulted in the latest patch.
Two weapons went to the vault in this content update but a fan-favorite weapon has returned. That’s right, the Dual Pistols have been unvaulted. Players wanted this dual-handed weapon for a long time since it’s really easy to get headshots with it at close range. Some other changes include the decrease in drop rate of the Dynamite and Boom Box and the X-4 Stormwing has also been nerfed in this content update.
