I have a cheap laptop which doesn’t play newer games (it barely handles old ones), and didn’t even own a PS3 until last year. Prior to that, my most recent console was … an original Nintendo. Anyway, as you might expect, I am only now catching up on PS3 games from years ago. The downside is that I know every spoiler in the universe about most of the games I play, but the upshot is that I can buy everything I wanted to try ages ago for like $5 each. That actually works out for me, because I don’t really have the deep pockets I’d need to buy everything when it releases. I always wonder how many other people are like me, lagging years behind on games, and how many actually are able to buy new games when they come out. How long do you usually wait (or have to wait) before you buy a new console or game that interests you?

Last played Subnautica on PC; really loving its take on the crafting/survival genre. That, and the stark tone shifts between hatching Cuddlefish and the primal dread of trying to avoid Leviathans in the pitch dark. 😆

This is a tough question! I am equally equally excited for the release o Fallout 76, The Last of Us: Part II, RDR2, and Battlefield V.

This is hilarious because I'm in the exact same boat as Katri Marcell, apart from I'm playing Ni No Kuni 2 on PS4. Gaming wise I'm getting lost in idol games like BanG Dream! and Love Live! In my defense their really addicting and I can waste hours on them.

I've not played MMOs in a very long time, but I remember growing up with Runescape and having so much fun on there. I'd managed to join a guild which was level 60 and up, and while I was only young then, I made some great friends and who helped teach me the ropes. I ended up leaving after I went to high school and I completely forgot my old account's username/password so I've never went back to it. But Runescape was great times.

I usually go for physical copies because I'm afraid of losing the digital somehow. Even though physicals get damaged if used too long or not cared for properly I'd rather take my chances there.

If we're talking real gaming then Ni No Kuni 2 was the last one on PC. If mobile games count though, I'm switching from Darkness Rises to Summoners War to Pokemon GO pretty much all day 😄

Honestly, the thought of 20 indie games releasing every week on Switch kinda gives me anxiety, lol. Too. Many GAMES. It's a good tactic from Ninty, though. I friggin' love great indie games.
