Hi everyone! I just found this forum through FP and it looked pretty amazing, and like a great community so I thought I'd join. I don't give much about myself IRL away online, although it probably all comes out as I post. But just a basic run down. I'm a husband, father of three, nearing 30 years old. I'm not the most up-to-date with gaming, I do still buy the occasional game for my N64 though. I do think it'd be good to get back into though, given the ages my children are now at! And that's me! If you need anything else, I do have an ask me thread that I'm about to start.

The Sword Of Hope 2, Dragon Crystal and Pokemon Yellow are fun GameBoy/GameGear games. From more modern handhelds, I'd say Killzone Mercenary, Undertale, Demon Gaze, Darkest Dungeon, Persona 4 Golden and Dungeon Travelers 2.

Any pokemon game would actually be nice that and mario kart. 😛

Most have been named already, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Mario 64, Mario Kart, Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask, StarFox would all definitely be on my list. Also Rush, I loved those games.

My girlfriend bought the game Thief. It looked and sounded good so I said I'd give it a go. It's total crap though. It's such a boring game. You don't really do much. I wouldn't play it again. She loves it though. lol But she likes slow games like that. I mean, one of her other favourite games is Minecraft, another boring game.

I love to see these, but with licensing issues I doubt they could get the rights to do so.

I think it’s a game that makes you work for progress/success again much like the old days. Games just don’t do that so much these days. The risk/reward gameplay loop is intoxicatingly addictive and I love the overall world of Lordran. It’s not for everyone, though.

Alright. I still have my N64, and still play it. So I have a list, because my N64 is getting older and more unreliable and I don't know how much longer I will be able to use it. - Pokemon Stadium - Mario Kart 64 - Mario Party - Goldeneye - Gauntlet Legends - Diddy Kong Racing - Super Mario 64 - Pokemon Snap - NBA Courtside - Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Zelda: Majora's Mask There's more, but this is the base line of my happiness with it. I'm a purist and hope they don't. I agree about the party people thing, but party people hang in person.

Definitely games by Rare, such as GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini etc.

All that sounds about right, I also hope standard HDD space is larger, I had to upgrade mine for PS4. Something in the 2TB range would be nice.

I really hope they go out on a limb here and actually make some games for online play. It would be great specially since N64 was made for party people.

Honestly the current specs are fine, they just need to up the ram and back everything with a SSD to increase load times. Naturally that isn't cheap.

Killzone Mercenary and Borderlands 2 on PS Vita has been my go-to games for a while. In terms of Game Boy classics, Metroid II and Tetris all the way. And Super Mario Land.

I can't really say, but when I was a kid my brother kidded me for playing this sucky Batman game. But, anyway, I was hurt by his comment because I wanted to like the game - but like Butthead on Beevis and Butthead - he has to say something mean! 🤣 "Uhh, uh,, it sucks!" 😃

I picked Toad. I picked him a lot because I felt he was one of the faster ones since he didn't weigh that much. The only down side to him was if you bumped into one of the bigger racers, they could knock you out of the way pretty easily.
