I'm not bothered by microtransactions or lootboxes, I would never purchase them though, I take the phrase "free to play" very seriously 😆 the same goes if I already purchased the game, I'm not going to spend more money on it. But microtransactions and lootboxes will continue to go on as long as there are people buying them, that is the whole point of a business, if there is a market the practice will continue.

Pikachu's design was actually very good, the design and detail is great. Have you seen the movie ? You should give it a try, its not an oscar winning movie but its definitely funny and worth it. Why you dont like Pikachu's design? I mean the movie is realistic enough and they didnt messed up the character like in Sonic's movie, which by the way they are currently fixing and they even delayed the movie until 2020 to give more time to the producers and designers.

I think gaming makes us think from different perspective. Like say we always try to find other options to solve some of the problems in our hand. And in such context I'd say that real life is lot different but thinking from different perspectives is a good practice to build.
