Silent Hill 2 and The Last Of Us hold a very special place in my heart. Both have phenomenal narratives that are deep and profound. They easily rival the best literature and movies imho.

Back To The Future - 9/10 classic

Deus Ex Human Revolution was one of the most engrossing games I have ever played with solid gameplay, an excellent and complicated story and had hours of replayability. It touched on many issues we face as humans in today's world such as discrimination, corruption, and greed.

Indeed. And the best part was the game was about worst case scenario. Which I think is more relatable in real life too. I think but the time when it was developed they didn't think of world after 2015. So it's pretty much good fantasy and is more relatable.

For me that would have to be FF8. I always end up feeling close to the characters. Like they're family, or like I was at the orphanage with them. Like I'm the 7th member of the group. The story is just so captivating that the world around me ceases to exist. But I know how to keep myself in the real world. I have my babies (4 dogs, 2 birds, 1 rat) and they always come first. This is my macaw. His name is Dante's Inferno. He's an evil little bastard, but he's still my buddy.

Closing in on the end of Bioshock 2. I believe I’m playing the last level now, with probably just a night or two left before I’m done. Looking forward to playing Minerva’s Den after this. I’ve read so many good things about it.

My favorite Batman game to date.

In Dragon’s Dogma you are given pawns that run around with you. They CONSTANTLY say the same obvious things like, “the path leads ahead”. Drove me bloody nuts after a while.
