Hi all, I'm new here 🙂 Thought I'd ask an interesting question. If you could combine certain features of 2 games together, what would they be and what would you make? Now I guess I better start. I'd make a Witcher 3 MMORPG by combining the story, characters, and world of Witcher 3 with Black Desert Online, which has a really good combat system, graphics, and is a decent all around good MMO in my opinion (apart from the upgrade system).

I find the Dark Souls series to be one of the few games to be really cryptic these days. It may not be clear what the Items you pick up do, or where you actually need to go as there's no map. Still, I actually think it's one of the positive draws to the franchise, as it means that I need to experiment and learn about the game, if that makes sense.

I totally agree with you there - Dark Souls has so many hidden missions, items and rewards which you may miss several times over before you discover them. Most games nowadays don't really take any brainpower to play, everything is so easy to access which makes these games boring and you end up losing interest in them within a few weeks to a month.

Long cutscenes. Typically they add nothing to the game. FF8 has tons of them, most of which are completely pointless and add absolutely nothing to the advancement of story in any way. They just waste time.

Definitely prefer the classic Mega Drive trilogy when it comes to Sonic. Sonic Mania, Generations and Colours are still solid games though and I'd still say that Sonic Adventures is a pretty good 3D platformer for its time. Hasn't aged well though.

To be fair, my interest started waning months ago but it really stopped when I heard the Youtuber story. To make matters worse, this isn't the first time they have pulled something like this which is very concerning.

Ditto. He's ruined any interest I had in Borderlands 3.

Awww, I'd like to meet and play with you too! We are indeed on the same wavelength I think. I know I've been absent. I haven't been gaming for a while., except for The Sims 4. That's why I've not been here. Generally sometimes I play a lot, sometimes not so much. Other hobbies take my time too and I'm an artist, so I spend a lot of time drawing and painting. But I still exist 😀

Sadly the only Merchandise I have is a poster of God of War 2 that I have own since I was 14.

Long Tutorials, I just hate tutorials, specially if the game has a big learning curve, I somehow rather learn by playing than having to go through a long tutorial. One of the main reasons why it took me a while to get into Monster Hunter.

Dead Space 2, damn this game is scary as hell.

Either you or @LadyDay (who I haven't seen in some time), because I always feel like I'm on a wavelength with both of you and like we'd have a great time. I also relate to you because of matters of disability. Gaming gives both of us a breathing space, and it'd be fun to share it.

Sherlock holmes (2009) - 8/10

Oh yeah, in a mulitplayer game that'd be terrible. One more reason for me to mainly stick with single player games, lol. Because I mix up controls constantly between games.

The most cryptic game I have ever played was Riven. I was completely bombed within the first couple minutes of playing it. I didn’t know what kind of game it was, going in. I just liked the graphics. Then I found out that it’s just the type of game that is way out of my league. Kudos to those that can get that kind of game. I just don’t have ability in that area.

Some early 3D games haven’t aged particularly well, like Tomb Raider 1 for example. 2D games tend to stand the test of time and age better.

Recently picked up Madden 20 for XB1. I'm not a huge sports gamer but I picked the game up on discount. I'll log a few hours here and there but will move on when Borderlands 3 and Modern Warfare come out.
