It’s my method. I didn’t say I was good at it or that I didn’t have to regrow a brain afterwards.

I’ve been sticking to some of the games I’ve mastered for the most part. Zelda games and different indie games on the NES. But one that I find relaxing isn’t a typical game. It’s a mobile game. Word Cookies. It gives you a bunch of letters and you have to find the words to fill the level. The words are prechosen, and you figure them out. There’s no time limit or anything like that. I recommend it anyway.

If I think it’s something that will leave me a couple brain cells afterward, I go slowly at it. I make tiny adjustments in the most seemingly insignificant things and see what the results are. When I get a reaction in the game to what I did I make a mental note of it if it doesn’t lead to exactly what I’m after. I continue that way until I get what I’m after. Sometimes it can take hours or even days to figure it all out, but I’m tenacious and methodical with things of this nature.

I probably won't buy The Sims 5 for a while. I like to wait for them to get the bugs worked out since EA never lets a game get fully finished before releasing it. The release of The Sims 4 was a disaster, and the game itself is still a major cash grab. It has some fun features, though, but I'd still say I like The Sims 3 the best.

There have been a number of games based on The Last Airbender and one based on The Legend of Korra (which I have played) and well... they mostly blow. But there is one unofficial project being made in Dreams on PS4 by a guy called "Elca" and in terms of concept, it's pretty close to what you’re saying! I don't have Dreams so I don't know far it's come but looks very promising.

I can confirm that it's cannon, Riley and Marlene aren't related. I believe it is the American Dreams comic that confirms this, but I'd have to check it out again to point out exactly where and how.

I was getting ready to mention Mario 2. The one that I was gonna mention was Toad. I know most perceived Toad as male, but there was never any actual confirmation in any way. And if you look at the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom, they all look and dress identically. So Toad is one that I would call either genderless or androgynous. It kinda reminds me of what Gimli said in Lord Of The Rings: It’s true you don’t see many Dwarf women. In fact, they’re so alike in voice and appearance, that they’re often mistaken for Dwarf men.

I'm not sure if it's a portrayal of a "gender-neutral" character as such but It's still quite interesting. In Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, two of the villans you meet are Alfred Ashford and his Twin sister Alexia, the grandchildren of the Umbrella co-founder Edward Ashford. But it turns out later on in the game that Alexia was missing (presumed dead) and that in her absence Alfred because pretty much lost his mind and started imitating his sister, wearing dresses, changing his voice and it actually took me by surprise. Until it was revealed I genuinely thought they were two different people. One character who has been the subject of much debate around the issue is Birdo from Mario 2, who might be the earliest example of a trans character in a game. It all comes form the original English manual, but references to this have been removed in later releases like Super Smash Brothers: Well like it or not creatures that are "genderless" or "androgynous" is a thing that legitimitly exists in nature so take it up with Gaia. I can think of a few example's in fantasy and science fiction as well.
