  1. The only way to know if a game is worth it is to play it. The world may hate it, but that should have no affect on whether you give it a shot or not. Like I said, I have (and love) several LJN games.

  2. Ok. that post confused the hell out of me. I'm not much on the technical aspect either. As long as the machine does what it's supposed to do, that's all I care about. If this was still the Win98 era, I could build a kickass computer. But that era is long gone, and I don't know shit about computers anymore. I'm lucky I can turn the damn thing on.

    Future consoles?

Granted their heyday has passed, but I still think they are the top dog, with PS in second and Xbox at number 3. The sales that I personally witness, have told me that. I'm not saying those are the actual figures on the actual worldwide scale. I'm just saying that from what I see people buy. A lot ask me about systems when I'm in the gaming department at Walmart. Or when I go to GameStop and the people working there are busy enough that they can't get to the customer. I tell them what I know, and my opinions, and they go from there. Everyone has their preferences, and that's the best thing about gaming. It keeps the world diverse and gets unique things and experiences out there. Personally I have been a Nintendo chick since the NES. With a couple exceptions. I hated the Wii. I wasn't the biggest fan of Game Cube, but I played it some. Mainly Zelda Four Swords and Soul Calibur 2.

  4. I’ve heard great things about Red Dead Redemption 2. I even have the game (since it came out) but just haven’t had the chance to play the game, even in lockdown. I really need to play RDR2 soon!

    Compatibility

Have you tried an emulator? DosBox is a good DOS emulator that even GOG.com use to run DOS games they sell on their store, maybe you could give that a try?

I just never got around to trying them out. I had every intention when I bought them, but for some reason I've never tried them. I think it's because, for the most part, I'm just trying to eat up time with something I'm familiar with, and never got off my ass to try something new. Chock that up to laziness I guess. There's a couple that I've played once or twice, so I didn't put them on the list.
