Hello everyone. I'm Tom from Vermont. I'm retired and like to play games (if I can get my grandson away from the PS4 that is). Looking forward to meeting everyone and finding out about the PS5 (might have to upgrade).

New here. Decided to join after a gaming forum I had been a member on closed its doors a few months ago. I tried to go back to social media and I just can't handle the amount of ignorance on those platforms. I would rather be on a forum. Anyways, I grew up gaming in the 90's and took a break from gaming for a good 6 years, got back into it and have been playing something pretty regularly since. Looking forward to chatting with some new people and talking about gaming!

Fitting isn't it?

I don't feel like I'm living on another planet, but I do want to.

It is coming to switch lite soon so if you are into it then I am sure you'd play 10 times more on switch lite if you like it that much.

The world is seriously fucked up right now. People have been getting murdered around here with alarming frequency. Last week I believe 4 people were killed in 3 separate incidents, in 3 separate towns. I've been arming up. I have 2 extra guns on layaway, and I'm looking to get an AR15 as well. I have a gun within arms reach at all times, but that's nothing new, as I'm extremely paranoid. I don't even go to the bathroom unarmed.

Craigslist. I got a brand new Switch Lite there for $170. You can find some really good deals on there. But there are also some lunatics there that think the system they're trying to sell is made of gold. I've had a lot of success shopping there. I don't know where you're from, but you could also try GameStop. They almost always have Switch's here. There's a store in the mall here called Vintage Stock. I don't know how wide spread they are, but they usually have them too. Also there's a local store here called Slackers. They have a website they sell a lot of their stuff on as well. You can try them. But due to the pandemic, I don't know what they will have. And often their prices are pure extortion.

I've only played AC3 so far, despite having the first 3, but I've been loving it. I haven't played it in a while, so I'm gonna have to see where I'm at, but I think it's a great game.

Actully I feel the opposite, I thought the large focus on the modern Animus and Desmond stuff in the first 3 games was crap. When they stopped putting so much focus on that the games immediately got better. I personally think Black Flag and Odyssey are easily the two best main games in the franchise. In my opinion they should really just get rid of the Animus shit completely.

I thought AC4 was fantastic, but then didn't really play AC for a while. I got into AC Odessey more recently and I've love it. It's a very different kind of game to older AC's, more RPG like, but those elements have been done well. Yes, the microtransactions are annoying just through existing, but I it's still a really good game.
